Dr. Arko Prabho Nath is a certified General Surgeon with over six years of extensive experience in comprehensive surgical patient care, encompassing elective procedures, emergency surgeries, and critical care management. He is well-trained in modern surgical techniques and is known for his meticulous approach, clinical judgment, and commitment to patient safety.
Dr. Nath has substantial hands-on expertise in diagnostic and interventional laparoscopy, along with endoscopy and colonoscopy, enabling minimally invasive diagnosis and treatment with faster recovery and improved outcomes. He routinely performs common and advanced general surgical procedures such as laparoscopic cholecystectomy, appendectomy, hernioplasty, and other abdominal surgeries.

He has served as a lead surgeon in numerous planned and emergency surgical cases at the prestigious Department of Surgery, IPGMER & SSKM Hospital, one of the most respected tertiary care centers in Eastern India. His training includes significant exposure to Surgical Intensive Care Units, where he managed complex pre-operative and post-operative patients requiring close monitoring and multidisciplinary care.
Dr. Nath has also worked at one of the busiest and most advanced Trauma Care Centres in Eastern India, gaining valuable experience in high-volume trauma management and emergency surgical decision-making. His proficiency in endoscopy was further strengthened through close clinical association with Dr. Satyapriya De Sarkar and other senior gastroenterologists.
In addition to his clinical expertise, Dr. Nath has served as a Medical Officer-in-Charge during a rural government posting, where he developed strong leadership, manpower management, and administrative skills.
